National chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ali Modu Sheriff has said his leadership will not allow anyone to ‘play god’ within the party.
Sheriff, a former governor of Borno State also said those loyal to the party would be given a level playing field to realize their political ambitions.
Speaking on Wednesday when he received members of the Plateau State chapter of the party at its national secretariat in Abuja, the PDP chief said those seeking to destroy the PDP will not be allowed to do so.
"You can’t force people to follow a leader they do not believe in. We are doing everything possible to bring all PDP members back. All those who believe in PDP will be given level playing field to realize their political ambition. Those seeking to destroy PDP will not be allowed," he said.
