Renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, has prayed for the success of his former students’ efforts to rebuild their alma mater, Madrasatul Markazuqqafuyyil Islamiyyi.
The school, founded by Sheikh Bauchi in the early 1950s, served as a centre for learning, discipline, and Islamic activities in Bauchi.
Sheikh Bauchi, represented by the Chairman of the Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi Foundation, Sayyadi Ibrahim Sheikh Dahiru, offered prayers in Bauchi during a tour of the plot of land where the oldest building of the school once stood.
The building was demolished and cleared by the former students as part of their effort to start the rebuilding process.
