Shehu Sani to South West & East:Demand a written agreement if your zone is promised power in 2023

Shehu Sani, senator representing Kaduna central has urged the people of southwest and southeast to demand for a written agreement to secure the promised presidential ticket of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2023.

The Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu had said the south-east will produce president in 2023 if the people of the zone massively vote President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.

Also, Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo had assured the Southwest that President Muhammadu Buhari will hand over government to a south-westerner, if the region supports him for next year’s elections.

In a tweet, the senator said the agreement should be signed by the presidential candidates and chieftains of the political parties offering the promise and witnessed by respected traditional and religious leaders.

“If they promise your geopolitical zone political power in 2023, demand for a written irreversible and irrevocable agreement,signed by their presidential candidates and party chieftains and witnessed by respected traditional and religious leaders,” he said.

“Gentleman agreement is a hoax & a mirage.”
