Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Boss Gida Mustapha, Governors Ibrahim Geidam, Kashim Shettima of Yobe and Borno states respectively and others are expected to attend the All Progressives Congress (APC) North East Zonal meeting in Bauchi.
Other APC stakeholders expected to attend the crucial meeting include the National Secretary of the party, Mai Mala Buni who is also it’s governorship candidate in Yobe state is also expected at the meeting.
APC North East National Vice Chairman,Comrade Mustapha Salihu, Senate Leader,Senator Ahmed Lawan and Adamawa State governor, Senator Bindow Umar Jibrilla are also expected to attend the meeting.
Minsters from the region, APC governorship candidates, serving National Assembly members and Candidates from the region are also expected.
Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, former Bauchi State governor, Mallam Isah Yuguda who joined the party recently is also attending the meeting.
The meeting is convened by the party to discuss the many challenges affecting the region ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The meeting which will take place at the Banquet Hall, Bauchi State Government House has not started as the governors and other APC stakeholders are yet to arrive the venue of the meeting.
