Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has lamented that domestic violence and sexual assault-related cases have been taking different dimensions in the State.
To this end, Abiodun said his government would ensure quick dispensation of justice in order to deter those that have such tendencies.

He stated this in Abeokuta at the 2022 Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Ogun State Chapter, saying it was high time health practitioners and the general public began to speak against the menace.
Abiodun, who spoke as guest of honour at the programme, said domestic violence or assaults had taken a different dimension in recent times and called on stakeholders to intensify efforts on advocacy and formulation of policies to curb it.
