* as baby christened Shalom
The newborn delivered by the 67-year old mother, Mrs Ajibola Otubusin, has been christened Shalom Oluwatomilola Otubusin, one week after the baby’s arrival.
Well-wishers, clergymen, family members and friends joined the 70-year-old, Prof. Samuel Otubusin and his wife at the naming ceremony held at Deeper Life Secretariat, White House, Leme in Abeokuta, Ogun State today.
Otubusin while giving his testimony before the audience said God had given him the baby’s names on May 10, 1982.
He equally told the congregation how his wife went from one hospital to another both in Nigeria and India in search of fruit of the womb.
Otubusin, who retired from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB), said despite all her wife went through, she was “attacked spiritually at several times in pregnancy” only to be saved by the dint of Providence.
“Ours is a story as simple as A, B, C and D. It all started in 1977. Just yesterday, isn’t it?” He asked the members of the congregation, who burst into laughter.
“Despite all the major health issues she had before the pregnancy, my wife suffered several spiritual attacks. And thank God, we are always together and we are prayer partners,” he said.
