Seun Kuti: To be considered a ‘good’ person in Nigeria, this is what you have to do

Afrobeat Singer, Seun Kuti, has condemned the lust for wealth and glorification of those well to do in the society, irrespective of their means of making money.

In an Instagram post, the musician who is very active on social media, attributed the development to poverty.

The son of Legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti said the easiest way to be called a good person in Nigeria is to be generous.

“All you have to do in Nigeria to be a good person is to do ‘giveaway’ and ‘dash money’. You could be responsible for the destruction of millions of lives, just dash them money and they will say you are a good. Poverty must go,” he wrote.

The post has generated different reactions on social media, with many of those commenting on it agreeing with Seun Kuti.
