The Senator representing Kaduna South, Danjuma Tella Laah, has appealed to the federal government to upgrade the School of Statistics, Manchok, to a full-pledged university, saying it will give the people of the area a sense of belonging and enhance quality of education.
Sen Laah, who stated this in Kafanchan, expressed delight over the recent visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Kafanchan and other parts of Kaduna State, and commended the people for turning out in their numbers to welcome him.
He reinforced the appeal of the Emir of Jema’a, Alhaji Muhammadu Isa Muhammad II, on the need to establish a military base in Kafanchan, saying if granted, the base would further enhance the security situation of not only the Southern part of the state, but the state as a whole.
