Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Shehu Sani has called for better funding of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) in the 2016 budget.
The lawmaker stated this during the budget defence exercise for agencies on the oversight of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs at the National Assembly in Abuja.
This was contained in a statement signed by Media Assistant to DG, IPCR, Abu I. Michael.
He called on members of the committee under the chairmanship of Senator Monsurat Sunmonu to ensure that the agency was adequately catered for in the 2016 budget.
