Gunmen on Tuesday killed Chief Terkula Suswam, elder brother of Senator Gabriel Suswam, a former Governor of Benue State.
He was shot dead at his residence in Anyin, a rural community in Logo Local Government Area of Benue.
The deceased, who was the proprietor of Ashi Waves (radio station) and Ashi Polytechnic, was said to be supervising a new building project close to his residence when the gunmen drove to the spot where he was murdered.
A family source confirmed the incident to Daily Trust.
He said details of the incident were sketchy and it was difficult to finger those behind the killing.
Contacted, the Police Spokesperson for Benue Command, DSP Catherine Anene, said she could not cnnfirm the incident yet as her effort to reach the DPO on ground was not fruitful.
