Senator Ningi, Tanko Dutse head Bauchi governorship inauguration committee

Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi and Alhaji Tanko Dutse are to head the 49 member Bauchi Governorship inauguration committee.

Ningi will steer the affairs of the committee while Alhaji Tanko Dutse will serve as Vice chairman with Alhaji Maula Adamu Aliyu as Secretary.

This was disclosed by the Office of the Governor-Elect in a statement signed by the Chairman of the Inauguration Committee, Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi.

Deputy Governor-Elect, Senator Baba Tela,State PDP chairman, Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam, Senator Bala Adamu Kariya, Bappah Haruna Disina and Senator Adamu Gumba are also members of the committee.

Senator Isah Hamma Misau, Senator Sulaiman Nazif Gamawa and other prominent PDP members ‎will also serve as members.

Members of the Commitee’s secretariat are; Shu’aibu Dankama, Ibrahim Waziri Zadawa and Auwal Ibrahim.

Six Sub-committees have also been formed which include Security, Mobilisation, Venue, Protocol, Publicity and Accommodation sub-committees.

According to the office of the Governor-Elect in the statement, formation of the main committee and other sub-committees was to ensure a smooth transition on May 29th, 2019.

In the statement, members of the Committee and the various Sub-committees are expected to attend a meeting on Saturday,11th May, 2019.
