Senator gives N70m scholarship to 4,020 students

Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District, John Owan-Enoh (PDP) has released the sum of N7O million to support education of students from his constituency.

Owan-Enoh, the chairman of Senate Committee on Finance and Appropriation, made the disbursement yesterday at Ikom when he launched what he described as a comprehensive educational programme in the state. The former member of the House of Representatives for Etung/Obubra federal constituency, said he was giving out so much in this recession not because he had too much money but because he had deep concern for the struggling youths of the state.
