Senator Uba Sani, representing Kaduna Central, has donated N1 million to staff and students affected by a fire incident at the dormitories of the Government Girls Secondary School, Kawo.

Daily Trust recalls that student items at Nana and Khadija hostels were destroyed by the fire on 7th February, 2020.

Speaking when he visited the school to access the extent of damage caused by the fire, Sen Sani consoled with the college community.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the victims, including three matrons and some students displaced by insurgency in Borno State, the Principal, Rakiya Ismail Ahmed, said the  Senator had redeemed a pledge he made to the victims and the school authority.
