Speaking through his Media aide, Kola Ologbondiyan shortly after the inauguration of Jonathan as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mark said he was hopeful that the ship of the State would sail effectively for the benefit of all Nigerians.

He said; “As legislators, we shall do our upmost best to lay a solid legislative framework for the executive arm of government to perform creditability well. We shall cooperate and synergize with the executive in order to fast track the delivery of the dividend of democracy to our people”.

Mark was particularly happy that Jonathan has made electoral reform which the Senate has harped on and the issue of the Niger Delta among others the focal point of his administration.

He called on the citizenry to do their own beat by supporting and cooperating with the present administration in order to realize the dreams of a better Nigeria for all.
