Senate rejects IGP’s representative at summon

The IGP had delegated a Deputy Inspector General of police (DIG) to represent him at the briefing before the senators but he was asked to leave the chamber by the lawmakers.

Also, reports reaching Daily Trust say the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Kenneth Minimah has just finished briefing the senators, as the DG SSS and Chief of Air Staff are to follow suit soon.
