The Senate Minority Caucus has expressed optimism that the newly-appointed service chiefs would stem the tide of insecurity in the country.

Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, in a reaction, said though the National Assembly had been calling for the replacement of the service chiefs, yesterday’s intervention was “better late than never.”

“We had been calling for this for a long time now. Let’s hope this team would stem the tide of insecurity,” Senator Abaribe said.
