The Senate Wednesday passed a bill for the establishment of the Nigerian Maritime Security Trust Fund.
This followed the consideration of the report by the Conference Committee on the Nigerian Maritime Security Trust Fund (Establishment) Bill 2022.
The chairman of the committee, Senator Danjuma Goje (APC, Gombe Central), in his presentation, recalled that the bill was passed in the House of Representatives on September 28, 2021.

He said the Senate concurred to its passage on December 1, 2021 with some slight modifications.
