Semi-finalists have emerged in the ongoing Governor Aminu Bello Masari Unity Super Cup for amateur clubs in the Daura Senatorial Zone following the conclusion of three quarter-final matches.
The quarter-final matches which began on Tuesday, October 11 at the refurbished Daura Township Stadium have produced Hadi Sirika Academy, Kankia United, New Generation Ingawa as semi-finalists while the last match between defending champions, Musa Haro Academy and FC Porto Zango is under investigation.

In the first quarter-final match on Tuesday, October 11, Hadi Sirika Academy defeated Arewa United Kankia 2-1, Kankia United walloped FC Ashafa Zango 4-1 in the second quarter-final clash on Wednesday while New Generation Ingawa laboured to a 2-1 win over Eagle Stars Mai’ adua on Friday, October 14.
Meanwhile, the third quarter-final match which ended 4-3 on penalties in favour of FC Porto who forced Cup holders, Musa Haro, to a 1-1 in regulation time, is under investigation by the organisers following a petition by Musa Haro.
The defending champions have accused their opponents of fielding an ineligible player in the quarter-final match played on Thursday, October 13.
According to the rules of the competition, only players in Daura Senatorial zone are eligible to represent any of the clubs.
A member of the Organising Committee told Daily Trust Sunday that the ongoing investigation into the protest against FC Porto will soon be concluded.
Musa Haro are hoping for a favorable outcome to enable them square up against New Generation in the second semi-final match on Sunday, October 31.
The first semi-final tie between Hadi Sirika Academy and Kankia United is slated for Tuesday, November 1.
