00.30am That’s it for the summer transfer window, with no more deals set to be announced. The winter version is set to open on 1 January 2017 but, remember, players who are free agents can sign outside the window.

00.05am The deals are not done yet. Hull City make their third signing of the day with the signing of attacking midfielder Markus Henriksen from AZ Alkmaar. The transfer is initially on loan but will become permanent in January.

11.57pm David Luiz is looking forward to playing in front of the Stamford Bridge faithful again.

11.40pm It’s a done deal at Tottenham Hotspur as midfielder Moussa Sissoko signs a five-year contract at White Hart Lane after moving from Newcastle United.

11.15pm West Bromwich Albion have added to their forward options after signing Hal Robson-Kanu, who starred for Wales at UEFA Euro 2016, on a two-year deal with the option of a further year.

11.12pm And the late deals are now coming in. Defender David Luiz is back at Chelsea after two years at Paris Saint-Germain with the 29-year-old signing a three-year contract.

11.07pm It’s time for a quick round-up of some of the notable departures that have been announced in the last hour or so. Diego Poyet has left West Ham by mutual consent, Leicester City’s Gokhan Inler has signed a three-year deal with Besiktas while striker Rickie Lambert has left West Brom for Cardiff City.

11pm And that is the summer transfer window officially closed, but as mentioned earlier, it is still possible for clubs to seal transfers via a deal sheet.

10.54pm Everton have also announced a late deal, with Enner Valencia moving north from West Ham United on a season-long loan, with the option of a permanent deal.

10.45pm And business has not yet been completed at Hull City, who have announced the signing of Dieumerci Mbokani from Dynamo Kiev. The 30-year-old, who scored seven goals in 29 Premier League appearances for Norwich City in 2015/16, has joined the Tigers on a season-long loan.

10.15pm Remember that while the window closes as 11pm BST, it is possible for clubs to seal transfers after this time via a deal sheet.

The deal sheet was designed with last-minute registrations in mind where full agreement as to the terms of a transfer have been reached but it is proving difficult to get all parties to sign all the required paperwork by the deadline.

It provides confirmation to the Premier League that an agreement to transfer a player has been reached between the buying club, selling club and the player. It can be submitted to the Premier League at any time after 9pm and before 11pm.

10.04pm Manchester City defender Jason Denayer has moved to Sunderland on a season-long loan to become David Moyes’ eighth signing of the summer.

9.40pm Hull City have continued a busy couple of days with the signing of 21-year-old midfielder James Weir from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.

9.35pm AFC Bournemouth have confirmed the arrival of Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere on loan for 2016/17.

9.30pm Marcos Alonso is back in the Premier League and happy.

9.23pm So confirmation that Islam Slimani, the Sporting and Algeria striker has moved to the Premier League champions. The 28-year-old has signed a five-year deal. "I’ve always wanted to play my football in the Premier League and to get the opportunity to do that with the reigning champions was something I simply could not turn down," Slimani told lcfc.com.

8.55pm West Ham United have been busy this summer and continued to strengthen their squad on Deadline Day with World Cup winner Alvaro Arbeloa. The 33-year-old defender has signed a one-year deal and will wear the No 5 shirt.

8.46pm There’s a departure from Anfield as striker Mario Balotelli leaves Liverpool for Nice on a permanent deal.

8.16pm West Bromwich Albion have made their fourth signing of the window with defender Allan Nyom from Watford. The 28-year-old, who will wear the No 2 shirt, has signed a four-year deal.

7.31pm Georges-Kevin Nkoudou is not the only player joining Spurs today, as they announce the signing of Pau Lopez from Espanyol on a season-long loan.

6.47pm Chelsea could make it two defenders signed on Deadline Day with the Blues announcing that they have agreed terms with Paris Saint-Germain for the return of David Luiz back to Stamford Bridge. The 29-year-old still has to pass a medical and agree personal terms.

6.17pm Tottenham Hotspur have made their third summer signing, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou from Marseille. The winger follows Victor Wanyama and Vicent Janssen to White Hart Lane. Forward Clinton Njie has gone the other way, sealing a loan move until the end of the season.

6.08pm Juan Cuadrado has completed a three-year loan move to Juventus, the former club of Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte.

5.22pm Wilfried Bony has spoken to stokecityfc.com after his "easy choice" to move to the bet365 Stadium.

5.07pm Antonio Conte has made his fourth summer signing, bringing in Marcus Alonso from Fiorentina for an undisclosed fee. The left-back is set for his third spell in the Premier League, having made 25 appearances during stints at Bolton Wanderers and Sunderland.

5.05pm With Bruno Martins Indi strengthening Stoke City’s defence, the Potters have loaned centre-back Philipp Wollscheid to Wolfsburg for the rest of the season, with a view to a permanent deal.

5pm Crystal Palace duo Sullay Kaikai and Hiram Boateng have gone out on loan to Brentford and Bristol Rovers respectively, while Manchester City have loaned out Eliaquim Mangala to Spanish side Valencia.

4.49pm Burnley broke their club-record transfer fee for the second time this summer when Jeff Hendrick moved to Turf Moor, and the midfielder is excited for his Premier League bow.

4.47pm Middlesbrough fans will hope that Adama Traore can replicate the pace and power he showed last season as he set up Carles Gil’s superb volley at Sunderland. Watch here.

4.35pm It has been a busy day for Stoke City, who have made Bruno Martins Indi their third Deadline Day signing. The Netherlands defender joins on a season-long loan deal from Porto, with a view to a permanent deal.

4.23pm Albert Adomah is going in the opposite direction to Traore, joining Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee.

4.03pm A quickfire double of transfers in as Middlesbrough bring in Adama Traore from Aston Villa. The winger made 10 appearances for the Villans last season.

4.03pm Arsenal have sold Serge Gnabry to Werder Bremen for an undisclosed fee. The winger was on loan at West Bromwich Albion last term.

4pm Burnley have made Jeff Hendrick their seventh signing of the summer. The Republic of Ireland midfielder is their club-record transfer, beating the fee paid for Steven Defour earlier this summer.

3.36pm Sunderland have just announced the signing of Didier Ndong, who moves to the Stadium of Light for €16million.

"It will be an honour to wear the Sunderland shirt and I will wear it with a true understanding of what it means," Ndong tells safc.com.

 

3.22pm Joe Hart moved to Torino on a season-long loan after 10 years at Manchester City. The club paid tribute to the goalkeeper’s decade of service with some of his best saves in a Man City kit.

2.14pm Manchester City, who loaned out Joe Hart and Wilfried Bony earlier in the day, have let Samir Nasri join UEFA Europa League holders Sevilla on a season-long deal. The French midfielder has won two Premier League titles in five years at the Etihad Stadium.

1.00pm Stoke City have made their second Deadline Day signing with the addition of Wilfried Bony. The striker, who has scored 31 goals in 90 Premier League appearances, leaves Manchester City on a season-long loan.

12.17pm Stoke City have announced the signing of Derby County goallkeeper Lee Grant. The 33-year-old, who has also played for Sheffield Wednesday and Burnley, has signed on loan until January.

12.05pm Manchester City have confirmed that goalkeeper Joe Hart, who has been with the club since 2006, has moved to Italian side Torino on loan for the rest of the 2016/17 season.

10.44am Middlesbrough have terminated the contract of Muzzy Carayol, who has left by mutual consent to move to Nottingham Forest, the club have said. The Gambia international scored 12 goals in just over 50 appearances for Boro.
