Security: Police stations to get solar installations

Kingsley Obiukwu, Executive Director, Bolton White Group, has promised to provide green energy (Solar Powered energy) to selected police stations around the country.

He said this would help to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and enhance the work productivity of the Nigerian Police Force.

According to a statement by the Group, Obiukwu made the promise when he had a meeting with the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr Kayode Egbetokun, recently.

“Firstly, we congratulated him on his new position as the highest-ranking police officer in Nigeria, then we further discussed our continuous partnership with the Nigeria Police Force.

“Adequate security is a strong foundation to any society. We discussed on roles the private sector can play towards the improvement of the security situation in our dear country Nigeria.

“I believe together as Nigerians we can build a better and greater Nigeria for all,” he said.
