The Anambra Joint Task Force on Security has launched a manhunt for the gunmen who killed 24 people at a nightclub in the Oba community, Idemili North LGA of the state.
The state’s Commissioner for Homeland Matters, Chikodi Anarah, in a statement Tuesday, said the state government had received “useful information and clues” that would aid its manhunt for the killers.

He urged the community to remain calm, assuring that those involved in the dastardly act would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
He said the local vigilance group was supporting the police to apprehend the gunmen.
