Security beefed up in Rivers

There is strong presence of security operatives in all parts of Rivers State.

The police command said on Tuesday that there would be massive troops deployment in the state to forestall any break down of law and order.

Our correspondent reports that communities such as Eleme, Oyigbo, Okrika, Tai and Gokana were condoned off by police and military operatives just as journalists were thoroughly frisked before they were allowed through.
