Another member of Adamawa State House of Assembly, Adamu Kwanate, has collapsed and passed on.
He died on Wednesday after rigorous election campaign.
The lawmaker representing Nassarawo-Binyeri Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC) had reportedly attended a campaign event on Wednesday before he collapsed at a political meeting.
This came five days after the legislator representing Mubi South, Abdurrahman Abubakar died in Yola.
The Public Relations Officer of the Assembly, Yahaya Daji, confirmed the death to our correspondent, saying the deceased was rushed to a hospital in Yola where he died.
According to him, Kwanate had been managing a health problem for some time before his eventual death.
He described the deceased as a hardworking legislator who enjoyed cordial relationship with his colleagues and staff of the state Assembly.
