Scaling up nutrition: ANRiN, AYGF, others reach over 1.5m beneficiaries in Niger

Beneficiaries totalling 1,518,404 in Niger State have received vital nutrition supplements.

Daily Trust reports that the initiative was spearheaded by a collaborative effort between the Accelerating Nutrition Results in Nigeria (ANRiN), the Africa Youth Growth Foundation (AYGF) and Plan International (PI).

Speaking Monday in Abuja during a stakeholders’ dialogue, the Commissioner, Ministry of Secondary and Tertiary Health, Niger State, Dr. Bello Tukur, said the provided supplements had ensured that the state’s indigenes and residents, particularly children and pregnant women, receive the essential nutrients they need to stay healthy and thrive.
