A Legislator representing Jere Federal Constituency, Engineer Satomi Ahmad, has congratulated Honourable Tajudeen Abass, the new Speaker of the 10th National Assembly.
He also felicitated with the newly inaugurated members of the 10th National Assembly.
He urged the 358 lawmakers to serve their fatherland and bring growth and development to their constituency.
The Legislator added that Abass’ new role will bring laudable feats into the legislative arm.
“Before the emergence of the speaker, he was the House Committee Chairman for Land Transport.
“He had also served in more than seven committees in the House of Assembly since 2015.
“The new speaker has sponsored the highest number of bills in the 8th assembly between 2015 and 2019.
“He also sponsored 74 bills between 2019 to 2023. 21 of the bills were signed into law”.
