It is also interesting to note that before the trip to Togo, Patricia Habila of FOSLA Academy had won the MVP and Highest Goalscorer Awards at the National Championship in Abuja.

Though FOSLA Academy girls didn’t win the trophy in Lome, they won the fair play award due to their strict compliance to CAF rules.

The proprietor of the academy, therefore, said the young girls deserve to be celebrated because they have brought honour to their fatherland.

“I am proud of what the team achieved. The fair play award means a lot to us. At this level we are more concerned with development of the raw talents,” said Lulu.
