Sarki Tafida heads college governing council

A former Nigerian ambassador to the United Kingdom and one-time Minister of Health, Senator Dalhatu Sarki Tafida has been appointed to head the governing council of Ameer Shehu Idris College of Advanced Studies, Zaria.

The 21-member council which was inaugurated by the Chief Judge of Abuja Judiciary, Justice Ishaq Bello has Ambassador Sule Buba, former Minister of State for Petroleum, Alhaji Umaru Dembo, university dons, representative of the emirate council among others as members.

While inaugurating the Council, Justice Bello commended the college’s authorities for assembling important people in governance and education to steer the affairs of the institution.
