The Magajin Garin Sokoto, Alhaji Hassan Ahmad Danbaba, has died. Daily Trust gathered from a close family source, Alhaji Buhari Sarkin Tudun Jabo, that he died today in Kaduna after a brief illness.
He told Daily Trust, “We are in serious shock, therefore, I cannot give details of the deceased as at now. We are preparing the remains of the deceased to be taken to Sokoto for burial.

“He would be buried in his home state, Sokoto, today. It is a great loss not only to the immediate members of his family, Sokoto State but for the entire nation.”
