Samira Haruna Sanusi (Author) Everything Good Will Come by Sefi Atta

Author, Samira Haruna Sanusi said her last good read is Sefi Atta’s ‘Everything Good Will Come’. “I loved it because the main character is unapologetically herself and has this self-love, self-growth and self-confidence going on and she doesn’t apologise for it. It just makes me realise that I need to start putting myself first as well.

“I love the book also because it talks about her brother who had the sickle cell disease and I just appreciate the fact that more writers are starting to lend their voice about this disease that has claimed so many lives and so many people live in silence because of the stigma.”
