The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kwara State has said that it aims to reduce road traffic accidents by five per cent during the Eid el-Fitr celebration on Wednesday.
In a statement, the state’s FRSC’s spokesman, Basambo Olayinka Busari, quoted the Sector Commander, Fredrick Ade Ogidan, that a special patrol was scheduled from June 26 to July 1.
Busari explained that the sector would organise rallies in all inter-state motor parks and markets to sensitise the public in order to ensure free flow of traffic during the period.
