Fuji singer, Saheed Osupa, has added a feather to his cap as he recently graduated from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, with a BSc in Political Science.
The Fuji maestro bagged a Second Class Honour, Upper Division.
Sharing pictures of the convocation ceremony, the 54-year-old artiste took to his verified Instagram account to share the good news. He wrote, “Today, I attended the Convocation Ceremony of the University of Ibadan, where I graduated, bagging a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) in Political Science with Second Class Honour, Upper Division.
“The public should be aware that, I, King (Dr.) Saheed Osupa Akorede, am now a graduate of the prestigious University of Ibadan, Class of ’21. Alhamdulilahi”.
Osupa was born in the Mosafejo area of Ajegunle, Lagos State, but grew up in Ibadan.
His father, Moshood Ajiwere Layeye was a Wéré music artiste and also an elder cousin of Fuji musician Ayinde Barrister.

It was gathered that the singer went to Amuwo Odofin High School in Lagos, where he graduated in 1987. In 1992, he completed his National Diploma programme at the Polytechnic of Ibadan after studying Business Administration. Moreso, he is an alumnus of the American International College where he studied Networking Operations.
