The sachet water producers had earlier informed the public of the proposed hike which would move a bag of pure water from N80 to N120 and a sachet from N5 to N10.
Chairman of the association, Prince Adeleke Adewumi, had told Daily Trust that producers can no longer cope with the present price, urging consumers to accept the planned increment in good faith.
