The House of Representatives members’ wives, under the auspices of Honourable Members Wives Association (HMWA) have distributed items to in-patients at Asokoro District General Hospital.
Distributing the items, Mrs. Pat Asadu, the leader of the group and wife of Dr. Patrick Asadu, representing Nsuka-Igboeze South Federal Constituency, Enugu State, also called for improved living standards for less privileged Nigerians through empowerment programmes from the government.
She said the call was to help the needy who are suffering in Nigeria, with no one to assist them.
