President Biden is expected to meet with NATO and European leaders on Thursday in Brussels for an emergency summit, as the Russia-Ukraine war enters the second month.
Russia invaded Ukraine in February and President Zelensky said more than 1,300 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the first month of the war.

According to a report by BBC, US President Joe Biden is among the leaders to attend the meeting.
Biden will address an emergency NATO summit and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will also speak, before meeting with the leaders of the other G-7 countries and all 27 leaders of European Union countries.
Nato Secretary-General, Jens Stoltenberg, said the alliance will approve a major increase of forces in Eastern Europe at the summit.
Jens Stoltenberg disclosed four new battle groups will be sent to Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania.

The US said that members of Russia’s forces have committed war crimes in Ukraine and the UK has extended sanctions to include 65 more Russian individuals and organisations including the Wagner Group of mercenaries.
