Moscow expects the outcome of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump to establish bilateral dialogue that is vital to the entire world, the Kremlin said Wednesday.
NAN reports that a meeting between Putin and Trump will take place on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hamburg on Friday.
“The expectation is for the establishment of a working dialogue, which is likely vital for the whole world in terms of increasing the effectiveness of solving the critical mass of conflicts and issues that are increasing day by day,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
Peskov described Putin’s anticipated talks with Trump in Hamburg, Germany on Friday as “a full-format bilateral meeting” that will be time-limited “due to the fact that it will be held ‘on the sidelines’ of the summit.” (Sputnik/NAN)
