The president of Nigeria Golf Federation (NGF) and Director General of the National Council for Arts and Culture, Olusegun Runsewe, has commended Governor Ganduje of Kano State for coming out to say the land allocated to Kano Golf Club has not been revoked.

Reacting to a recent press release by the Kano State Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Mallam Muhammad Garba debunking an online report, Runsewe said that the development has come as cheering news to the golfing community in Nigeria.
