Christiano Ronaldo was the star of the night in Juventus’ game against Torino as he set new records in the match that ended 4-1 in favour of the Old Lady.
The five-time World Footballer of the year scored a stunning free-kick in the 61st minute of play to emerge as the first player to score 25 goals in a season for Juve since 1961.

The goal was also the first time Ronaldo would be scoring from a free-kick spot in Juventus shirt.
The goal was also Ronaldo’s 55th from a free-kick during his illustrious career and also made him the first player in the Premier League era to score 25 or more goals in a season in England, Spain and Italy.
The game against Torino started on a high temp as Paulo Dyabala opened the scoring in the 4th minute of play and it was two-nil before the half-hour mark as Juan Cuadrado’s left-footed shot gave Juve a convincing lead.
Andrea Belotti converted a penalty in the 46th minute for Torino to keep the game at 2-1 but Ronaldo’s 61st minutes free-kick and Koffi Djidji’s home goal in the 87th minutes buried the hope of the visitors.
After the match, Ronaldo said: “We knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but we deserved to win, we played well.
“My goal? I was waiting to score on a free-kick. I’m happy, but it’s important to win regardless of who scores. We are improving as a team, that’s what matters.”
The win left Juventus with 75 points from 30 games atop the Serie A table.
