Manchester United striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, is set to discuss his future at Manchester United after arriving at their Carrington training ground on Tuesday, with his agent, Jorge Mendes.
Ronaldo, who has missed most of the club’s preseason games in Thailand and Australia, is expected to speak to manager Erik ten Hag.
He was said to have missed the preseason tour due to family reasons.
The 37-year-old recently declared his desire to leave the club this summer, expressing the desire to receive a good offer.
Ronaldo finished with 24 goals last season, but that was not enough to secure a Champions League spot for United, who finished at 6th place during their 2021/2022 Premier League campaign.
Earlier this month, Ten Hag declared Ronaldo as “not for sale”.
“I am looking forward to working with him. We are planning with Cristiano in mind this season and that’s it and I look forward to working with him,” he said.
United will kick off their premier league campaign at home against Brighton on August 7 after their pre-season match against Atletico Madrid in Norway and Rayo Vallecano at home.
