In a bid to promote and facilitate positive human development through holistic educational initiatives and scholarships, Rochas Care has been giving back to communities by building healthcare and skill acquisition centres.
Recently, the foundation paid a visit to the Rochas Care Skill Acquisition Centre at Karamajiji to fulfill its promise to the people by donating cash prizes worth 100,000 naira each to three beneficiaries.
This gesture is against the backdrop of the foundation’s establishment of a skill acquisition centre in the area in 2017 and another one in November 2020.
On the occasion of the launch of the skill acquisition center on November 21st, 2020, several relief materials were distributed, including motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines and food stuffs.
Also, three people were selected for cash grants of 100,000.
Speaking with the media, an elated Aisha Suleiman; a beneficiary of the cash grant expressed her gratitude to the Rochas Care team for the donation.
“I am sincerely grateful to Rochas Care, Mr Amen Rochas, the Executive Director Rochas Care and the entire Rochas Care team for the money.
“I cannot believe it and I am so happy.
“They have really brought a lot of good things to the community and we are all very happy,” enthused Aisha.
Also speaking, the Project Manager of Rochas Care, Mr. Paul Mogbe, described the event as one of many to come.
According to him: “This is in keeping with our promise to engineer positive change in communities by empowering people.
“We will continue to reach out to communities who need aid.”
