The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested armed robbery suspects and recovered guns.
The spokesperson of the command, ASP Ramhan Nansel, said the police received a distress call from Cajaah Mass Housing Estate, Karshi, that armed robbers were operating at the extreme end of the estate close to a forest at about 1am on Monday.

ASP Ramhan said, “Upon receipt of the information, police personnel at Karshi Division raced to the scene where a gun duel ensued.
“Consequently, the hoodlums were dislodged through the combined effort of the police and the estate`s security men and two suspects, Zahradeen Mohammed (19) and Dogo (whose real name is yet to be known). They both have gunshot wounds and are in the hospital.
Nansel added that three other suspects were arrested in connection with another robbery incident reported at `A` Division, Lafia, on December 21, 2020, and that the police trailed and arrested three suspects: Musa Umar (26); Sule Usman (23) and Abdulhadi Sani (25) in their hideout in Makurdi, Benue State.
He said two locally fabricated pistols, 17 rounds of ammunition and three wristwatches were recovered from them.
