Gunmen on a motorcycle have attacked a POS stand at Anguwar Dawaki opposite the townhall in Suleja, Niger State, killed a 31-year -old man, Bala Isah, and carted away N260,000.
A witness, Usman Zubairu, said, “The incident happened around 10pm on Monday. The robbers also went away with several Android phones that were displayed for sale in the shop.

Zubairu said, “It was God that saved me because my house is just few metres from the POS shop. While on my way to the shop to make some withdrawal, a man alighted from a motorcycle and opened fire on a customer in front of the shop.
“The shot man died instantly. The robbers then went into the POS shop and carted away N260,000 and phones.”
Niger State police spokesman, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident and advised POS operators to stop late night services.
