A suspected armed robber, Godspower Osareretin, has been arrested by the operatives of the Edo State Police Command.
The command’s spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor, who confirmed the incident, said that one Alex Izogie reported to the police that the suspect went to his boutique at AFP Junction, Benin, with the intent to rob him of his property and that he raised alarm and the suspect was overpowered and apprehended.

Chidi said the suspect was arrested with a pistol and two rounds of ammunition, adding that the case was under investigation.
