The Attah Igala and President, Kogi State Council of Chiefs, Dr Michael Ameh Oboni has lauded Governor Yahaya Bello for the road construction projects his administration has embarked upon in Igala land, describing him as a man of his words.

Attah Igala who spoke yesterday at his palace in Idah when the governor paid him a homage while on tour of tertiary institutions in the Kogi East senatorial district, said, “You were here sometime ago and you promised you were going to build some roads in Igala land that have remained unsolvable for three generations. You are a practical man and we are grateful for that.”

He particularly applauded the governor for the ongoing work on Idah-Ibaji road, Shintaku-Dekina-Anyigba road, Okpo-Ibana-Ette road and Ankpa-Abejukolo road.

Responding, Governor Yahaya Bello assured the royal father of the total renovation of his palace as well as reinforcing the security operatives to tackle cases of robbery,  kidnapping  and other crimes in the zone.

He said a forward operational base would soon be built for the Nigerian Army in Igala land to tackle challenges of insecurity in the zone.
