The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Rivers State, Dakuku Peterside has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of allocating votes to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the governorship election.
Testifying at the Rivers State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja, Peterside stated that because no election held in the state for the presidential, National Assembly, Governorship and State Assembly elections, INEC merely allocated figures in the result sheets.
While being cross examined by defence counsels, Emmanuel Ukala (SAN) and Chris Uche (SAN), he said after voting in the April 11 governorship election in Ward 3 of Opobo Nkoro Local Government Area with his wife, some hoodlums came and carted away the election materials.
He added that from feelers he received from his agents in the various parts of the state, no election held in the state.
