The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday won four more local government areas in Rivers state as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) continues the collation of March 9 gubernatorial election.
At the resumed collation of the results of the state’s governorship elections in Port Harcourt today, the PDP has won Obio-Akpor, Ogu/Bolo, Asari Toru and Degema LGAs.
Earlier on Tuesday, the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate in Rivers state, Engr. Biokpomabo Awara, floored his arch rival, Nyesom Wike of the PDP in two local government areas, namely Oyibo and Akuku-Toru LGAs.
