A 25-year-old tricycle rider, Ammar Ibrahim, has drowned in a pond while washing his tricycle at Tattarawa village in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area (LGA) of Kano State.
Spokesman of the Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi, said the incident happened on Tuesday after the man went to wash his tricycle.

He said the victim slid into the water and was rescued unconscious but later died.
