Revenue leakages: Appear or risk sanctions, Reps tell FIRS boss

The Public Account Committee of the House of Representatives Wednesday directed the executive chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Muhammad Mamman Nami, to appear before it today to answer questions on revenue leakages or face sanctions.

The lawmakers also asked him to tender his resignation if he is not capable of discharging his constitutional duties.

The chairman of the committee, Oluwole Oke, gave the order following the failure of Nami  to honour the invitation by the committee.
