A revenue collector simply identified as Osazuwa was reportedly stabbed to death by a motorcycle rider in Ogheghe community in Ikpoba Okha local government area of Edo State.
The incident happened on Tuesday when an Okada rider believed to be Hausa had an argument with revenue collector over revenue and in the process stabbed him.

The victim reportedly died later from the injury.
The incident it was gathered led to a clash between Ogheghe youths and members of Hausa community in the area in which property were destroyed.
When contacted the Police Public Relations Officer, Edo state command, DSP Princewill Osaigbovo confirmed the incident but said he was not aware of any death.
He said the commissioner of police has met with the community, adding that normalcy has returned to the area.
Meanwhile, Edo state government had ordered the reconstitution of the Peace Committee in the state.
The governor, Godwin Obaseki, gave the order during a meeting with members of Arewa Community and members of Ogheghe Community in Ikpoba Okha Local Government of the State.
He said the committee would include members of Arewa community, local governments and traditional institutions in the area.
“The purpose of the committee is to give the Arewa leadership in the local governments the authority to register all members of the Arewa community to enable us to know those operating in each community across the local government.”
