The Kwara State Internal Revenue board on Tuesday dismissed seven staff of the revenue service over poor performance. According to a statement signed by the Executive Chairman of the Service, Dr Muritala Awodun, which was made available to journalists in llorin, the dismissal of the staff is with immediate effect.
“The Board of the Kwara lnternal Revenue Service resolved to disengage the employment of seven staff on the basis of poor performance and contravention of the KW-IRS Core Values (Service, Honesty, Integrity, Responsibility and Trust),” the service said, assuring the public of its continuous commitment towards mobilizing revenue for the strategic development of Kwara State.
