While stressing the need for all communities in the chiefdom to forge ahead with life together, Gora said the different communities must coexist peacefully and promote unity for meaningful development to thrive.
The chairman challenged members of the committee to renew their commitment to uniting the people until enduring peace is achieved and urged members to nip every security problem in the bud using lawful means.
In his remark, Victor Abarshi of Kaduna State Peace Commission emphasised the need for constant dialogue in all activities so as to ensure lasting peace in the area.
The meeting, among other things received reports from its various sub-communities particularly on ways of returning the Atyap chiefdom to its former peaceful status.
